Exclamation considerable oil loss, but no puddle underneath

So i have an oil leak. i wouldnt call it major because lucas oil stops it, but thats only a bandaid. i have have to add it every time i change my oil. if i dont add it i lose about a quart every 2 weeks. i drive pretty rough occasionally, i.e. revs up to about 6ish. on the daily drive i shift around 4. EVERYTHING has oil on it. its obviously from the top down. im not burning any oil. even though i had the head cover gasket replaced when i got it about 12k miles ago, it looks like it could be leaking from one half. and now the part thats gonna make you cringe... like i said theres no puddle under neath the car, so i found out about the leak the hard way. meaning i went to drain the oil and less than half a quart came out. the check engine light is not on, neither is the maint req'd light. please help?

where is it leaking from? spray everything with brake cleaner. get that engine cleaned up and figure out where it's coming from. if it's that much, either you're burning it out or you have a major leak. i.e. the headgasket...

Based on what you describe I would guess valve cover gasket. You said you had it replaced 12k miles ago but the guy may have done a poor job or the bolts holding the valve cover may have loosened. I would follow baron's advice and clean the engine and then watch for a leak. I have never used it but they make a dye that glows under black light that can be added to oil to help find the source of the leak.
