So I recently purchased a 2003 civic Hybrid manual transmission, great little car with no problems at all except for the fact that I cannot seem to figure out why the cruise control wont activate.
When I push the button down by the power mirror controls, it lights up. No problems there. I have gone so far as to ohm out each and every connector to ensure continuity, and everything checks out. I even ohmed out the circuit board for the cruise control module. The switches are good and I checked the actuator and servo for the cruise control, all work flawlessly. Checked the cruise control switch, all connections have continuity and seem to be working properly. I'm wondering if there's anyone here that has fixed this cruise control? if it is maybe a programming problem or something I haven't thought of?
Some other info:
Horn works, break lights work, clutch pedal position sensor works (both of them), no CEL, no icon appears in the dash and I'm not sure what it would look like if there was one.
