2001 Civic EX, BXMA trans, 4-dr, 1.7L VTEC.

I am trying to put a backup camera in this car, looked (almost) everywhere and can't find where the backup switch is on the tranny.

I have read other posts and do not want to mess with all those wires behind the glovebox again. BTDT.

Besides, the ECM/PCM is too close and I don't want to unknowingly cause a problem(s) somewhere else just for a backup camera.

Also, are the wires, GRN and YEL in the connector with GRN being power +?

I would appreciate knowing other things close to it like other connectors/sensors/engine parts, top or bottom or side, etc.

I have read other descriptions other places and they didn't help. Thank you if you can help out.

why not tap a reverse light wire? You're gonna be working on the back end of the car anyways

that's where backup cameras recommend tapping to... the light wiring...
