New Member 2004 Civic hybrid regular battery dying

Hi guys

I would like to ask a question since I'm new to this car. It is a 2004 hybrid with only 75k miles. My specific problem is with the regular battery.

-Car start fine, sometimes with the starter and sometimes using the generator.
-Now, usually start with the regular starter and the battery light stays on, if i keep driving it for about 15 minutes, the electrical system complete dies, I mean not even the gauges work. Only the mileage and the fuel consumption still functioning. Hitting the brakes (2 bulbs in the back) cause to the engine start loosing firing doing battery starvation. I measure the battery in this condition and was only about 9 volts.
-yesterday I barely made it home home, I turned the lights on disconnected the battery and the car was still running but the battery was dead. I'm not sure if the car was keeping alive with the Li-ion cells in the and the generator for the hybrid set up.
-basically is like the car is not charging the battery, but can still feed the lights (not 100% bright) but not charging the battery at all.

As you guy can imagine, the hybrid civic is an electrical nightmare and very difficult to work on it.

Any help will be more than appreciate.
Thanks a lot, Denis
