I had an issue with my 02 civic 1.7 ex.
lost all power car was only running off battery so I replaced the battery and alternator..new alternator tested 4 times and is good but it doesnt charge the battery..I checked all the fuses. . what else could it be

Any fault codes? Is the battery light on in the dash? Check fuse 4 (10 A) in the under-dash fuse box.

What do you mean by “Tested”?

They hooked tester up while car was running and it showed it was charging, or you set the alternator on the counter and they plugged it in and said it works?

That's probably your problem. Go get one from a junkyard if you don't want to buy a new oem one

Never heard of them, Honda's don't like aftermarket alternators.
As long as you've checked that you don't have any blown fuses, that cheap parts store alternator is the problem. There's like 2 or 3 people every month posting here with the exact same problem
