2005 Civic both headlights dont work
2005 Civic both headlights dont work
Both of my headlights on my civic dont work, i tested the fuses, bought two new bulbs, the brights work, the tailights work, running lights and interior lights all work, just the headlights dont. I heard of a recall on 01 02 civics, is there any recalls for 05s? or is there a common problem i dont know about? Thanks

You have a strange one for certain. The circuit for the 04/05 low beams really could not be more simple. Basicly anytime the headlight relay is energized the low beams would be on. No fuses that are not common to high and low beams operation.
Own a test light or multimeter by chance ??

Re: 2005 Civic both headlights dont work
Both the low and the high beams are supplied voltage from a common source and the low beam bulbs other side is grounded directly.
If your high beams work, the relay and part of the wiring is o.k.
Edit: The wire color for the low beam right = RED. The low beam left is RED/YEL look for voltage on these 2 when the headlights are on.
