Civic hatchback Heater issues in turbo 2016,17,18,19

HI

Has anyone here experienced any issues with the interior heater malfunctioning when the outside temperature is below -10c? https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/hon...ater-1.5960676
I would like to purchase a 2017,18, or 19 civic hatchback, but this is really holding me back since I live in a cold climate.

Yes. I let my '16 Civic idle for 20 minutes when it was below freezing and the temp gauge didn't even move until I started driving. Once you start driving it warms up though.
