Car is 2019 Civic Sport, tires are Goodyear Eagle Sport 235/40 R18. 2nd owner, several years now. Tires randomly losing air, sometimes as much as 6-8 lbs. Accumulated mileage 50+ thousand, TPMS activates several times per year, usually one or more tires low. Not always the same tires. No nails etc found, but not likely either since the low tire(s) not always the same.
Seems to be some online chatter about this issue, nothing definite found. Any members here seeing this?

Had a similar issue with my OEM GTI tires. Idk if the bead was weak. Got new tires and issue was gone.
you can have a tire shop re Mount the tires but if they have 50k miles on them might want to consider replacement.

Posted this in case others had a possible oddball issue with either the rims or the tires. I suspect corrosion on the rim mating surfaces. Plan is to remove the tires, clean any corrosion, and remount with rim sealant. Tires currently a little past half worn
