Canadian pride, I see! Yeah I guess I have a hard time feeling sorry fo you considering every day we wake up the American way is pushed onto so many other societies. I don't have a problem with the U.S., I think they have a wonderful country and stand up for their beliefs, but I do have a problem with people ragging on any other country taking pride in their own.

I mean a simple way of putting it is looking at how much American propaganda we see every day. Everything from televisions shows throughout the day, to movies that basically state the Americans save the world anytime there is a problem in society (Example: Independance Day, Armageddon.............) Finally, I am far happier in knowing that I can go to Europe and state I am a Canadian and not get hated for it, or even other areas across the Atlantic for that matter.

That's really all I had to say, not trying to attack the original poster, just simply trying to point out everyone takes pride in their country, if you don't like it don't travel, and definately don't come on to a Canadian forum and expect what you said to go unoticed.
