hey guys, i'm just wondering (this is for those who drive a manual tranny). do you guys hear a loud grinding sound when you shift to reverse coz mine is really loud. let me know if you guys hear the same thing. i'm just worried there might be something wrong with my tranny? thanks [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]

Not sure about the civics, but most econo cars the reverse gear has no syncros so it sounds like your grinding the gear in place. (???) Like sometimes when you shift to reverse it doesn't pop into place so u'll have to roll the car slightly and the gear will fall into place.
