Rep Power: 0 ya i could help you, but it's funny cuz civics have rear drums so you only going to paint your front calipers?
I did mine already on my Protege 5.
here's what you need.
1) From Canadian Tire or Lordco - High Temp Caliper paint. Either spray or brush.
2) Foam brushes, small and wide.
3) masking tape
4) Paint thinner
5) Sand paper - fine.
Step 1 Take off your rims/steelies
Step 2. Sand paper the caliper to get rid of the rust/dirt etc.
Step 3 . Use paint thinner to remove all the dust and stuff from the sanding.
Step 4. Put newspaper and masking tape around the edges that you don't want paint on.
Now caution: Caliper's slide on two pins. You should be able to see part of the sliding pin. IF you get paint on it
it may not slide as well and your brakes will be fvcked so be very careful.
Step 5. Spray paint into the lid of the spray paint can and use foam brush to apply several layers *allowing each layer to dry* Don't let the paint run. Dab it.
Step 6. Once dry 1-2 hours put the wheels back on and let it dry for several more hours before take it out.
If you scared to do it we can set up a mini paint caliper meet or something.

Rep Power: 0 If you are the type of person that has never had their wheel off, exept to change a flat. I would recommend having someone who has help you with this.
