Stock CD changer...

Does anyone know if the stock 6disc in-dash changer will be compatible with a non-honda deck?
I'm thinking about getting an MD-deck for my car, and i dont wanna be unexpected problems...

Dude,
Don't waste your time with the stock 6 disc changer, when your getting a MD Disc Changer. Now to me the MD seems like a waste of money they did not catch on like they were suppose to. Just buy a good deck with a good disc changer. I use a panasonic with a 8 disc changer and I have no problems with it!

I'm not 100% sure but the last time I was told, the deck and changer have to be the same brand...but that was 2 years ago...
