I saw a picture of a new package available for the 2002 civic in the sunday edmonton sun. It came with a body kit, spoiler and a bunch of other extras for $23,000. If anyone has the sun today you should check it out. I just can't remember what the name of the package was. If someone has the paper please post the name of the package.

what kit is it for the coupe? just the oem? or is it a different OEM?

For an extra $1000 you get the oem body kit, carbon fibre interior trim, chrome exhuast, a special badge that says "veloz" on the back, and custom floor mats that say veloz.

haha. get the badge. that would be rice, but i guess you have the same engine so it's not like labeling your Sedan SiR. or Type-R.

Damn... Someone beat me to this. Yeah, it is going to come with a "Veloz" thing on it. What it is is the Civic Coupe Si-G (Si with group option package) and the rear spoiler and the skirts, chrome exhaust finisher (I want gold tho), carbon fibre panel kit, unique floor mats and the rear badge. That's the car I'm buying but they won't get them in until late March. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] They will only come in Black or Silver (50% each) and 60% Manual, 40% Automatic. Aprox 2000 units will be produced between Feb and April 2002.

I found all this out when I went to the dealer just for the Si. Because the stuff I wanted was partially in the list and was of the right color. It was cheaper just to get the Veloz and wait another month. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] Will post pics when I get it.

I'd have to agree there. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] I don't mind the carbon fibre that much but when I asked the dealer if I could get it changed for free, he said no because it's factory installed; not dealer installed. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

it's a pity, but I've never actually seen the carbon fiber, so maybe it'll look better. I actually wanted carbon fiber, but they had a demo that was done with Aluminum Trim, had tint. and a couple of others. and I took that.
