nope.... as u know EL's headlight is slightly different from civics, so i'll have to really do some major custom work here.. open up the headlight housing.. cut the back part of the housing.. and plug in the projector assembly. and the way the HID is assembled... my high/low beam is hooked up to the HID... so no DRL
that's why i might need to install a fog light of some sort and then use it as my high beam.
don't believe what ppl say that you don't need high beam if you have HID, because with improper housing.. you'll have to aim it slightly downwards and thus reduce it's effectiveness on highways, for city driving it's ok....
thats why i want to get the projector.... so that i can aim it upwards a little bit... without producing too much glare and it'll be much better for highways too.
ps. u can replace your projectors too (in case if your projector head doesn't satisfy you)... coz this one is made by hella.. and it's pretty good for HID's & normal halogens, it has a sharp cutoff beam pattern.

yeah shouldn't be a problem...although they only headlight mods and tinkering i've done is with non-hid.
and better be carefull aiming those hid's or if you ever get VI'ed then tis be a big pain in the buttocks to fix it etc....

the problem is... even if I use civic's projector.. it won't be of much use..
because my high beam cable is linked to the HID aswell... to prevent it from restarting if I hit the high beam (problem with cars that use single headlight for high & low beam, current is being cut off from the low beam when high beam is on)
and based on the wiring diagram... the only way for me to get high beam is by installing fog lights or aux lights of some sort...and use manual button to turn it on
and the beam pattern for those projector some said that they are not that good coz they are meant for halogen bulbs..
so i decided to just go with this hella thingy... it have a sharper cutoff ... more like E-Code lights.... and it's DIY !!... nobody else will have the same configuration ... LOL.... we all are trying to be different rite... ? hahahaha...
but on second thought... hmm it might work.. and i'll just wire the high beam manually then.. any volunteer ? to lend me your headlights to see whether it fits ?

Man I wish that I could let you try...but I'm in Edmonton...cuz I have been wanting to do up a DIY Lower Grill...and well I would need to take off my bumper...and well then I could kill 2 birds with one stone.....
If you drive out here....I will 100% help you with it...I have cleared my headlights...so moding them to fit the hella wont be that difficult.......The only prob I think that you will have is....cutting a nice perfect circle into your OEM headlight assembly cuz well all that Chrome stuff on the inside will be a very big pain....So you know it may start to splinter....or chip off when you start to cut thru...I suggeset....using a Drill to cut around Circle out to fit the MODS....or a router (sp) or a dremal or somthing like that.....cuz a saw is going to do major damage...All I Know is that the chrome on the inside is thing...and probably flakey....cuz I got some of the lovely grey sticky stuff on it....and I attempted to rub it of....and well I started to rud the chrome off....Well I wish you good luck....and I'm still jealous that you got HID
