I have a 2020 Civic LX with single speed intermittent wipers controlled at the interior control stalk. I'm thinking that with the way that most cars are designed and option controlled that I may be able to replace the control stalk with a model up that has controllable interval settings. A simple junkyard part and an hour and viola. Anyone tried this?

Did it in an 05, can't believe they're still doing that in 2020. As long as the harness has the right number of wires in the connector for the multi speed it should work. The older single speed ones had less wires.

Junkyard? A 2020 in the junkyard? Probably not yet. Might try the dismantler, for smashed one.

But, will it be compatible? That's the big issue.

My 04 went to the junkyard last year, smashed up too much. It was the EX and thus had the adjustable speed wipers.

There’s been a couple 10th Gen civic’s at my local pick n pull. Massively dismantled by the time they arrive, but there nonetheless.
