Infotainment screen flashes green three times when I tap any button on the screen
SubscribeSo I have a 2017 Honda Civic EX-T and I unhooked one of the plugs out of the back of the radio because I was going to tap into it for a sub/amp. But I decided not too so I plugged it back in. Once I put everything back together, I started the car and the infotainment center was in theft mode, which I took it out of by just holding the audio on/off button for 2-3 seconds. The screen turned back on and worked fine for about 10 mins then it went blank again. Now every time I try to touch any of the buttons, all it does is flash green three times. I tried holding the audio on/off for 30 seconds which didn’t work. Also tried holding audio on/off and dimmer button at the same time for 30 seconds which also didn’t work. I finally tried pulling the radio and backup camera fuses and putting them back in which still didn’t work. I am totally stumped on what to do next so any help is appreciated.

check your owner's manual, I think there's more involved in taking the stereo out of theft modeOriginally Posted by Johng2203

remove, recheck connections, assemble again
did you disconnect battery before doing the work?

I looked the other day and didn’t see anything but I will check again in case I missed it. Originally Posted by Colin42

Yeah I think that’s what I’m going to try next and yes I did unhook the battery while I worked on itOriginally Posted by sdaidoji

Update: I slid the radio out and unplugged the connectors and let it sit for a few mins. Plugged it back in and still flashes green. Don’t really want to go to a dealership because I am the third owner and it most likely doesn’t have a warranty. But I am tempted to call Honda and see if they are any help
