anyone has idea about h&r cup kit?

i went autobas today and they said h&r cup kit is available for $1300 installed...
in the first time i was thinking about koni but i heard that many people have problem with noise part... so i am really wondering which one i should get..

and. i thought that autobas sells tein ss for 1700+100 installation.. but i went there and they said it will cost more than $2000.... do i have wrong info or it is right??

hmmm... so.. i am confused myself which one i should go for...

does h&r cup kit have warrenty???? how long would it be??

lastly, does anyone know the price for h&r cup kit in other store???
and anyone give me the deal????

i like to get tein ss but over $2000.... it's gonna hurt me a lot..

But I just confirmed with H&R that the cup-kit is not available yet for 2k1 civic's. And if they can get you the cup-kit for $1300 installed, that is definitely a go-ahead!

Cup-kits are supposed to be just h&R springs paired up with Koni shocks. The Koni shocks are supposed to be "tuned" to the specs according to H&R. They are not true coilovers, just H&R springs with Koni shocks. The height adjustment is done using the C-clips. In other words, with very limited "adjustability".

ddongs, no problem. Just in my opinion, if you can afford it, Tein SS is the way to go since it is fully adjustable. On the other hand, if you are never going to adjust the stiffness/height, then Tein is a waste of money for you.

Tein SS is the way to go if u can shell out the cash
but AznSaint said Autobas sold out all the Tein SS at the price of $1700
as a matter of fact, all the Teins were sold out nationwide according to AznSaint

H&R cup kit is good but if u want to go up and down for different season then get the Tein for sure

yes.. i know that tein ss is very good...
but.. i am concerned about the rumor that tein ss rusts pretty fast...
that is why i am worried...
i am going to keep the car in ontario area for about 2 more years then i am going back to vancouver... so.. i don't really have to adjust height.. all i care about suspension part is how long it will last without any problem... if there is special coating i can do to tein to prevent rusting... i might get tein...

tekgnosis has a spectacular aura abouttekgnosis has a spectacular aura abouttekgnosis has a spectacular aura about
ddongs: I emailed Tein to ask them this.

they still haven't replied.

one of the extra features of the Flex is that it has a special teflon coating to prevent rust.

I hope I can apply something like this to mine...cuz even my springs started to rust after one year!!!

if cup kits are h&r springs with knoi shocks.... and that autobas quoted ddong for it at 1300 installed....?

i asked them how much was for h/r springs with koni shocks.. they said around min. 1500, not including installation.. and it took them like five mins. going through the freaking computer to tell me that.
i said speedtech around the corner already beats that price and they're like.. nah man, or else we cant make anything... so i said lates.
