Envolope trick
i read this on another forum
Has anyone tried the seal enveloppe trick? Or is that just a myth?
To refresh your minds:
1. Use radar detector.
2. Get the cherries thrown on you.
3. Unplug radar detector before you pull over.
4. Put radar detector in sealed, addressed enveloppe.
Appearently, a sealed enveloppe is considered proprety of the Crown, and they must go through a hell-load of paperwork in order to be legally entitled to open it.
So hypothetically, the cop knows you are using a radar, pulls you over, sees that you have placed it in a sealed enveloppe --> and therefore can't do anything about it on the spot; not until he fills out a shitload of paperwork at least.
Fact or fiction ??

You may claim that the envelope is a highly confidential document / item ...
but the question just pop out my mind ... what if the drug lord put the drugs in a sealed bag ...
I think the cop has the right to tell you to open it !?!?
... ah well ... dont know ...

Well.. don't you need a box, because its pretty hard to fit a radar detector in a envelope, unless its those parcel bubble type with a quick seal
but you must have fast reaction time to disconnect the detector.
Who volunteers to try it?
