Rep Power: 0 Group Tint in Toronto
Anybody interested in a group tint?
So far I have 4 cars in for sure and hopefully we can get more to lower the price. Prices will depends on 1) how many windows on your cars 2) types of tint.
I heard Fxauto and Richmondhill tint do a good job. but let me know any other good places.
Let me know if you are seriously interested
Thanks

Rep Power: 0 Yeah I'm interested where do you live? I want to get my car tinted but I really don't want a shitty job. My last car I had tinted cost about $270.00. If that is any indication on how good the quality is I'm looking for.

Rep Power: 0 I had my 94 hatch tinted about 8 years ago by Tint Master in Mississauga, near Dixie and Meyerside and I really liked it. Didn't turn blue or discolor like all those other shitty cheap tints. Unfortunately I found it to be too dark and stripped it off after the thiefs smashed my window.

I want a quality job too! The price for a 1 quality job with a civic coupe is around 250, again it depends on the car you have.
Sorry i do not know the exact group buy price right now, because I am busy with exam and sh_t assignments. But me and my friends who are in this group tint will contact the place as soon as possible...I am looking to tint mine near the end of April or early May.
Thanks

Rep Power: 0 I don't know to be honest, I was thinking just something light. I just want something to prevent UV rays from discoloring the fabric, not too concerned with look! I find anything too dark really affects my vision.
I have seen some cars with a dark tint and it looks awesome and others with no tint that look just as good.

Rep Power: 0 Here are some updates on this group tint
The following cars are in this group tint for sure
1 civic coupe(myself), 2 Protege 5, 1 passat, 1 BMW 325. 1 matrix
We are choosing btw Fxauto or thornhill tint and look like Fxauto is the choice because my friends heard many good things from them
As for prices, I will call them on monday and ask. What I can do is ask them about the price for additional civics. I think it will be a better price than doing it alone.
If you can make a decission now, you can put your name down so I can get a definite quote on monday for you. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 i suggest u do it in may or june
reason: when the temperature is 25+ degrees, the film sticks better to the windows and it will last forever without bubbles forming. if the tint was done on a day that's around 10-15 degrees it will take longer for the film to dry...etc
so try set soemthing up around May or mid april when it reaches 25+ degrees
just my 2 cents

Rep Power: 0 in order to tint the entire rear window in our car, professional shop will take apart the plastic piece and tint it that way.
but the problem with the plastic piece is that it tends to remove easy but hard to put it back and ppl tends to break few clips and those small plastic clips costs $3-5 each from the dealer and they are dealer's item.
lazy shop dont even bother with it and it will look weird if they dont tint the brake light.
i know FX auto and Thornhill tint are well know reputable shops but i dont know if they will do the extra step?

Rep Power: 0 I was talking to Richard at Thornhill tint and he is currently working on the prices now. He will do the rear brake light and dot matrix!!! He told me if I can get more people the cheaper the price will be. The regular price he quoted me for one civic coupe with brake light and dot matrix is 240 tax included. But I told him we can pay cash and get more civics to tint...so the price is lower than that for sure. Hopefully I can get a quote later today. The tint is lifetime warrantee and high performance steel material.
Here is what we have now for sure
1)civic coupe
2)Volvo 850
3)BMW 325
4)Pro5
5)Pro5
6)matrix
7)Passat
Please put your name down if you can, so I can tell him how many more civic is in
me and my friends will tint btw the week of April 28th to May2, most likely on the weekend.
This group tint is looking good
Thanks

I think early May is a good time!

Rep Power: 0 Richard called me back and here is the deal!!!
The regular price for a civic coupe with dot matrix / rear break light removed tint will cost 260 and he is willing to do it for 200 flat no hidden fee. The condition is you need to pay cash and I need to get 10 cars. So far I have 7 cars for sure....(I will contact my friends to double check). Thornhill tint would like to set up a date on either May 2, 3, 4 the first weekend of May to have it all done. It take about 2- 3 hour for each car. I need to know the answer by this thursday so please put down your name here if you are seious about it.
Thanks
