My friends are currently contacting Fxauto for prices. Since thornhill tint and Fxauto are highly recommended in many car forum, we will chose the better price btw the two. Some of you might not know already that Thornhill tint did offer us 200 cash tax included for any car. They will remove the brake light for us and tint the rear with dot matrix (it is dots that surround the rear window). they are also using high performance steel tint!
So far we have
7 plus 4 from BlueTroll
BlueTroll do you and your friends mind tinting during the first weekend of May?

tru FX auto and see if u can get it under $200 for so many cars
$260 regular is BS...my friend walked in to Thornhill Tints and he got it all done for $200 with little to none bargaining
$200 is good for 1 car individual but not good enough for 11 cars (Group tint).
keep us update on FX auto

Rep Power: 0 I haven't contacted Fxauto yet...cause I just finished an exam yesterday and the next one is coming up on thursday. i will try asap. I will ask Thornhill again for prices...I think 180 is very reasonable since we have 12 cars now. 7 from mine, 4 from Blue Troll and scsgrumpydriverR (are you in for sure?)
I will try to work a deal with thornhill and Fxauto for the 12 cars we have now.

is that the best they can quote us for? i'm pretty sure if you try hard enuf, we can get it 160-170. just say if you don't give us this price, we're more than happy to take our business elsewhere... that really works on chinese ppl ...

True. 180 is worth it but it doesn't look like a group price.
My gf's brother got it for 170 alone and they did a good job on it.

you should ask for 130-140 for a group buy and see what he says. but start off by asking 130. just keep pushing the guy till he gives in. if you think about it. that guy is getting paid big bucks with a group buy. he will definantly give in to that. if not... try another shop.

also forget to mention, ask them to throw in the sunstrip tint for free (they usually do it if u asked them to but if u dont ask then they wont do it)
just see the price between FX auto and Thornhill tint then i can tell u if i am in or not

exactly waht i said in page 2 and 3 about pricing, so try to bargain more if u can. if Thornhill said no way then tell him "screw it, i am going to FX auto with my 12 potential customers"

i got mine for $200 individual (taxes in) at the dealer's and they drove it out to get it tinted for me before they delivered my car =D

The following are cash prices, tax included, 12 cars deal and has to be done in a two day time. May 3 and 4
I ask them to separate the price for 4 door and 2 door to make it fair for us.
Fxauto: 4 door car ~225, 2 door 175
Thornhill tint: 4 door 210, 2 door 180
The price may be high compare to 170 (according to other people's experience). However, remember that we are getting quality tint, and quality services. They both over life time warrantee on the tint (colour change, piling, dirt btw the window and the tint, bubbling). No worries about service after sales. Richard in Thornhill tint is great guy to talk to and he explained every detail I needed to know, on the other hand the guy from Fxauto just quoted the price and don't borther. Me and my friend are going with thornhil tint. Hey BlueTroll (party of 4) and Redvic can I put you down on May4?

so the cheapest for sedan is $200?
coupe and sedan should cost the same becuase sedan has 5 windows to tint and so does coupe
i know the coupe back windows are smaller but it is still a window
i will think about it and see if i can get some $170 deal myself
and may 3 or 4th is bad time for university studetns (some) becuase i wont be done all my exams until may 8th...sucks to be me
