what kinda tint is FX giving you guys.. they have 3 grades

regular... in 3 shades
semi metalic... in 3 shades
full metalic... in 3 shades

I got a walk in deal from fx auto for the semi metalic tint for 200
no bargining. 175 for the regular and 225 for the full metalic..

prices are all taxed in..

make sure FX is not giving you this group buy price for the regualr film
as the semi and full metalic films blocks off more uv rays and reduce more heat.

30% is alrught but still kinda light for my taste
in hot shinny summer day, u would want something like 15% or 20% all around to reduce teh light enter the car cuz u know how hot our car can get in a hot sunny day

well if u go with 5% then u will get in s h i t
but 15 or 20 or 25% u wont really get into trouble

make sure u ask the guy to throw in the free sunstrip banner (go 5%) to block the sun. if u dont ask then they wont do it

usually u can go with 5% or 15% for the banner...as dark as possible

the cop can't say it's too dark for the banner but the cop can ticket u if the banner is too long (half the size of the windshield)

Go for 20%!. Mine is 30 or 35 and it looks as if nothing's been done! My buddy's 20% and he has never been hassle by cops.......yet!

I always get hastled by them and i have a stock. I would do 20% but the thing to remember is that, 1 ticket = a couple of hundred bucks extra on the insurance =(

Tintking Mississauga prices... 210 coupe, 258 sedan (including sunstrip)... just got mine done 2weeks ago it was great coz it was only walking distance from my place! that's for the top quality tint

btw, tintking sauga did a great job! they didn't cut around the 3rd brake-light (took the deck off), nice and neat, and gave me that tint-cleaner stuff for free (how much does this stuff cost?)
