you can;t really see the cam gear after install so colour doesnt matter
only the pulley is very noticeable after install

dohc is twin cam ...that means 2 cam gear.
sohc is single cam...that means 1 cam gear..

for our car 7th gen civic is all single cam..that means one cam gear..
