Si or Si-G?
Si or Si-G?
What should I get... the Si, or Si-G.
Si MSRP = $20700
Si-G MSRP = $22200 (I believe)
The Si comes with everything, cept for:
Rear Trunk Lid Spoiler, Steering Wheel - Leather-Wrapped, Carbon-Fibre-Look Instrument Panel and Centre Console, Leather-Wrapped 5-Speed Shift ****, 4-Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD)
$1,500.00
Which that is the Group (G) option. Is that worth it? Thanks for all the help as always!

the 1500 is pretty worth it for all that... ABS is really helpful in the winter and all the leather and interior styling will add up to more if bought separately... but the ABS pretty much makes the 1500 worth-it

You can do it manually but you gotta pump your brakes around 15-18 times / second AND you gotta be able to recognize that your car is actually skidding.
With abs, the computer does everything for you and all you have to do is steer.
I would actually have to say that a person who doesn't use ABS, doesn't know how to drive.
seem like ur right, would wanna argue with u! never tried a car with abs so don't know what it feels like

Is that after negotiation because if so, the Civic can be purchased at a different price.

not sure what gumpydriver exactly meant on his last comment
but i would say drivers who like to slam on brakes should definitely buy an option with ABS.
experienced ... skilled... safe drivers will not need ABS.
i've had both abs and no abs on 7th gen civics.
i'd say save the money and not get the abs.
with my experience.. i learn not to slam on brakes no more. haha... one thing i definitely learn.. is that you cant beat traffic. i've known that but never really took it to consideration.
ppl who do not pay attention to traffic.... should get abs. but abs wont be your saviour.

I think I'm going to get myself the Si... I never did use ABS, and I'm more or less a responsible driver, I don't go over the speed limit usually, I don't cut lanes for no reason, and I don't tail anyone, so I think I'd be safe without ABS. Besides, driving a **** box 1980 Chevy Wagon (my parents car), I have no shame without ABS
thats no fun

Just because your responsible doesn't mean you don't need ABS. Its like airbags, it can save you, but its not mandatory. The ABS sensors definately knows more about the conditions than you, as I said, even on moderately dry pavements going at 20km/hr stopping for the stopsign in a timely manner still activated the ABS. If you didn't have ABS than you probably think that your tires are not skidding.
Anyways this can get into a flame war, just like what octane to us (btw its 94!)
