Well, it was pure Bullcrap. Bush just kept saying "If Iraq Disarm's Then we Disarm, If Iraq threatens us Americans, then I will protect us Americans"

rriiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhtttttttttttt.. . he means his ARMY will protect the americans..

i loved the guy who made reference to the vietnam war and how american soldiers sacrificed their lives for the war. however the war itself had no impact to change the gov't. and the guy asked bush how he can be sure that this is no different...

Hahaha, I came home from dinner thinking that I had missed half of Survivor...
But Global had Will and Grace on... I was like, "HUH?"
Then I saw Bush's face on practically every channel...and especially on CBS..so I had to watch that until it finished...

Bush just basically said that Iraq hasn't destroyed its nukes for 12 years now. For safety of the world citizens, and for the safety of the American ppl, something should be done about it. Saddam has not obeyed these orders and since he is a dictator, Bush says it is best to get rid of Saddam and "free" Iraq's ppl.

This is stupid BS. If the Iraqi's themselves don't like Saddam, I'm sure they would have asked for help long ago...

Also, the threat to destroy the oil fields is going to hit us hard!

well answer me this if u can,
why is saddam hiding weapon's that he shouldnt have?
there is prolly a reason as to why BUSH senior and UN put those restriction for a reason!
its not about bush's little speech its about protecting the live's of the US people.
the loss of the twin tower is too much of hit on the american's so think of it this way. if it happened to canadian's they will go crazy!!

well something is about to happen.. they've just evacuated all the civilians from the iraq-kuwait border

and they are filling in some of kuwaits defensive trenches so that vehicles can move over them



im guessing they're waiting for just the right weather and the go ahead from a few other countrys to use their airspace and airbases


it's pretty obvious that there will not be a peaceful resolution.. you can look at it one of two ways, but it wont really matter

A) no matter what saddam does it will not appease bush
B) no matter what bush orders, saddam will not fully comply with it

I agree... that's why there's no way there will be a peaceful resolution. The UN already found like what, 12 missiles/bombs that they got rid of and yet Bush still says that Saddam is still manufacturing these bombs. Bush won't be happy with anything Saddam will do unless he quits as being the leader of Iraq. That's what Bush wants, for Saddam to let go of Iraq so the Americans can have some control over their natural resource, which is OIL....
