yeah, it's worth it. Throttle bodies are usually pretty expensive when bought aftermarket.. the sad thing is that the gains suck for the price, UNLESS.. you've done some head work. What people don't understand is that you need awesome airflow to get more speed. The air goes through your intake, into the throttle body, and eventually the exhaust escapes through the header into the cat, then your exhaust pipe. So, if you have a cold air intake, bored throttle body, and ported and polished head and intake manifold, some sort of valve job.. (three angle is good enough), and a nice 4-1 header, and a hi-flow cat, with 2 1/4" piping all the way back.. then you've just hit airflow heaven! There is nothing more you can do to make your car breathe better. Headers, intakes, and throttle bodies are bolt ons.. but don't do much without internal work. Once you've completed these things, look into lightened and balanced pistons, valve sleeves, crank, stroker kits, etc. Do some research and you'll see how fun it is to be a naturally aspirated motor junky. The cool thing is you don't have to do it all at once like a turbo. You're not spending 4 grand right off the bat. You can spend 200 here, 300 there.. maybe a grand or two.. and just slowly build your car. You'll just run into some expensive labor charges if you can't do it yourself.

Not to flame but i gotta say, if you own a dremel, you should be kept far, far, far away from real tools and anything mechanical for your sake and everyone elses.

I wasn't kidding. I read a post where somebody used a Dremel to do there TB. So flame all you want. I could really care less. I do all my own work and saves a lot of money. If its possible i will do it. just keep being a newbie, your all the same.
