Best deal on Civic SiR

Just curious... anyone strike a good deal on a Civic SiR in the GTA area? If so, what's the price on the road? (include taxes and everything) a friend of mine is looking into one...

go to Ready Honda (mississauga) and talk to Sammy Lau.

He quoted me
$22411 (included gas tax, admin fee, freight, pdi...etv) + 15% taxes = $25772

last time i went they have 1 inca (demo), 1 red (new), 5 silver left in the lot. dont know how many they have left now

If you don't mind me asking, what was the trade-in value for your car going to be?

Your going to have to sell your car privately like me. I went into Action Honda on the weekend for a trade up and they only offered my 11k for my DX sedan. The Demo SiR was sweet though. It was going for 25,500. It was already lowered w/ 17" Tenzos wrapped in Potenza's. The package was worth about 3k but he was going to give to me for free, along w/ rust proof and floor mats. Good deal but I want more money for my car first.

Probably the only reason you were gonna get 3k+ off the new one is cause he was lowballing you on the trade... just try getting the same deal after you sell your car privately and walk in there with no trade :/

I agree though that you are almost always better to sell ur car privately.

why would u want a car already done up???
personally the whole point of doing up a car is doing it yourself to ur own style.
but i wouldnt have the car lowered at the dealership not unless there is warranty on the shocks if they go.

Whenever a dealership sells a car that has been "Modded", all parts are under warranty. The same thing if you were to take in your car in to formula honda to get lowered, or an exhaust etc... Everything would be under warranty because they were installed by a "Certified Honda Technician".

that's so not fair.....my mechanic is certified in ontario and have a licence too. if something happened to my shocks, i have to pay exta to take it off and put back the stock springs on then go to the dealer for repair.

this sucks.

lakeshore honda...$21500.00 + all the BS...you can pull that down about $500...
the worst thing you can do is buy your mods from a dealer....your paying interest on whatever you put on the car for as long as your paying for the car

The dealerships must charge way too much for that kind of stuff then or I think everyone would be doing it that way.
Do you have to buy the parts from them too or can you just bring them stuff you bought elsewhere?
