Well, heres an update...I now drive a rental! Its a Nissan Sentra SE. Its not bad, not too peppy, but it'll do. I'll be driving this for about a week or so.
Burwell thinks I need a new outter driver's door panel, and the steering column needs to be fixed. They tried to steal my car, trying to start the with a screwdriver!!! The pulled the ignition cyclinder right out!!! Dumbass, you need the key!!!
Pilot is taking care of everything. They're really good. I spoke with my broker and he said my rates won't go up, but my deductable will from $300 to $500.
I think I want a car alarm now. I know you guys have Compustar, how are they? FutureShop has the Viper 5000 for $350 - rip off? Wheres a good place to install one?

Future shop sells the Viper 5000 for $350 installed? If so...that's a good deal.
I recommend any DEI alarms (Viper, CompuStar)

Nope, just $350 for the alarm itself. How much do you think it'll be for install?
Is there any extra stuff that I need with an alarm? ie, will it detect glass breaking, lifting the door handle etc.

$350 for just the unit itself is expensive. You're looking at another $200 to install it. In total that alarm will cost you over $600 installed.
A good alarm like the compustar or viper will have the dual shock sensor (detect impact), hood pin, trunk pin, door pin so none of that stuff will cost you extra. The only stuff that will cost extra is if you want soemthing like tilt sensor, proxy sensor, etc...

The alarms I got in the group buy were the Compustar 2WFM-AS

proxy sensors are a pain in the nuts cause it will be goin off all the time without reason
tilt sensor is a good idea if you want to protect your rims, or from a flat-bed tow

Car Update: It looks like I'm going to have my rental - Nissan Sentra - for about a week and a half. Total repair cost is $2600, replacing outter driver door panel, and steering column. Stupid fu.kers!
On the brighter side, I'm really enjoying the AUX IN jack on the rental. I've been playing my iPod Shuffle directly into the headunit and its awesome! So much better controlling the music with the Shuffle, it just fits right into your hand.
I was going to try to make a harness for our stock HU before this crap happened. =(

lol, my groin, you still telling everyone "your version" of that bumper story? bahahahaha...
On a side note, i'm FINALLY getting a new AEM V2 intake, apparently jrp didn't get my email, so i resent new pics and it should be in tommorow. THey said i can throw my old intake in the garbage, which sucks cuz if someone knows how to weld, i can sell it to someone. The filter is perfect, the pipe just needs the hole fixed.
