Too funny as usual. Well Tommorow is black monday for Ford Motor Company. The line stops at 10 am, we all go to watch a live feed from Ford Headquaters and watch Bill Ford Jr. give the "bad news" as to cut backs. Expected are 4 to 5 plants to close, we are possibly on the chopping block. If we don't get closed down, i think we are gonna go down to 1 shift, laying off 1200 people, me in that bunch. So this blows huge, especially with a house on the way that i haven't payed for yet. Hope its good news, but it looks bad. WOn't be sleeping tonight. This won't even be broadcasted on the news until the reporters get to it outside the plant. Word has it, CAW union president Buzz Hargrove will be at our plant at 7 am for a meeting with the company, no clue on that one. Wish me luck!!

This is only if bad stuff happens with Ford

we are going to go down to one shift, next year, looks like mid 2007. THe union is pissed cuz we were supposed to be safe, so there will be negotiations starting next week with Bill Ford Jr. and the rest of the monkeys that run the show. WE are gonna try to get 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, that way everyone still works but equaits to the same money for Ford. Their continued investment into the plant of 200 million dollars stays which is good. If only the 700 plus employees that are eligible for retirement already would freakin retire, we'd be ok. THere most likely will be buy-outs for them. Another option could be a transfer to Oakville if the opportunity arises. In total, 14 assembly plants and parts plants will be eliminated by 2012, 7 by 2008. Wixom michigan will close, they build the Ford Gt and the Lincoln Town Car, the town car is based on our Crown Vic, hopefully it will come to us if they don't get rid of it all together.

i'll stick it through for now and see what happens, as for my dad, hes retiring in the next 3 years anyway, but his seniority is really good, he'll be around.

So my car got broken into late lastnight.
Fu.ckers with a screwdriver broken the lock on the door, need bodywork.
Fu.ckers then ripped apart my steering column, trying to start it with the screwdriver.
Ah, don't they realize you need the key to drive off!!! I want to kick someone's *** right now.

Its going through insurance. My rates shouldn't go up because it wasn't my fault. It went to Burwell Auto on York St. via Pilot Insurance.
Waiting for a call from Pilot tomorrow to see what to do next.
