LONDON PEEPS: General Discussion (Part II)
so is it damaging my car in the meantime? should i keep it off the road?
on a side note, im a little disapointed with the drop. i knew what the measurment of the drop would be, but i was kinda hopin it would like a little lower =\

Well.. it should be ok in the mean time... just really noisey.
As for your drop... the upper strut being mounted wrong will make your car look a little higher then it is... plus the springs need time to compress. The car will drop more in the next week or two.

i was thinkin about swappin them out for a set of neuspeed race springs...you think that 2.25" drop is too low for london ontario winter driving?
maybe i wont swap em out though if the car settles a little closer to the ground

hmmm...it will be such a hassle to get my current springs out, oem's mounted back in, then sell my current springs, and get a set of new ones lol
maybe i can trade my oem springs for a set of neuspeed race, then just do a swap, then sell my current springs and buy back a set of oem's? lol. how confusiing
oh yea, i got dropped on neuspeed sports

The sports are just a bit more of a drop than my H&R Sports.. Personally I like a subtle drop but that's me.. I can't imagine being anymore cautious when it comes to bumps! haha.
If you wanna get rid of your Sports you can talk to Boy_R_D if he hasn't gotten any springs yet maybe..? I dunno, just an idea.

Again, on another note.. I've received an email from the driver of the van (the license plate # that the witness gave to me) and here it is:
Hey, I think you deserve to know what happened to your car last sunday. Josh and I were standing outside leo's with some nick guy we met that night. He was alittle drunk and he was talking about how he hated suped up cars and such. Later in the night when you guys were on stage, he asked me if I would take him to get a pack of smokes. On the way out of the parking lot he told me to stop, he got out, grabbed an Ice tea bottle from the ground and ran up smashing your window and kicking the back of your car. I didn't know anything like that was going to happen and at the time I didn't even know that was your car. The guy told us to get driving and we drove away from Leo's and I made him get out of the car. Im sorry that it happened and I will try and figure out his last name. His describtion is Brown Hair, about my height with long hair, his left ear pierced twice and i think he had acouple tattoo's. Im not sure if you know him or not. Right now I am kinda scared because I might be getting charged with something I didn't do, Im sorry that this happened but I don't exactly think it's my fault. I was afraid to go to the cops because I thought they would blame it on me. Im an adult and I don't need to be charged because it will screw my plans of being a musician. Sorry again, Shane.
the guy is prolly just dropping a story to get him or any of his friends out of trouble. how convienient that he picked up some complete stranger who he doesnt even know, and after he went and smashed some random car, he let him back in his van, and didnt tell anyone.
i dont buy it. continue to do what you gotta do. id email him back and let him know that the only way you wont pursue any legal action is if he can come up with your deductable payment

oh...i thought in the email that the guy was worried about legal action being taken. maybe you can just use it as a bluff and get him to pay his way out of trouble that he might not even be getting in

Yea but I still feel like a bastard man.. It's quite a hefty bill, bro! paint, exhaust, and rear window is alot to cover. We'll see what happens though! I might email Jonas if I need to take legal action though.. The cop I'm dealing with right now is pretty nice and all so I'll find out how things go after the kid goes to the cop shop tomorrow!
wow..you got nice guy syndrome lol
its a heafty bill, but why should you be stuck paying it because some ******* "doesnt like suped up rides".
this story has made me afraid to "sup up my ride" lol
