Remote Starter ? and Need Ampinstalled

I wanted to get a remote starter installed on my car. The guy told me that because the key needs to be in the ignition, there needs to be some modifications done to bypass the computer? Is this true? Is there another way to do it? I dont wanna be messing around with the computer, that shyt scares me. What are your experiences?

Also, I need to get a 4 channel amp installed, is there anyone out there who can do a good job for a reasonable price. I am thinking of mounting on a board, right behind the flip down seat, so when you the seat is down the amp is exposed. Looking for a decent offer for this job.

Thanks,

Amer

you absolutely require a spare key to get the autostart on it...

For remote starter
you can either leave the spare key inside teh car or
get a module that cost around $50-100 that will not require to leave the key inside the car AND without messing around the computer

For amp install
if u are willing to drive to mississauga, my friend who been working in installing car stereos for 20 years can installed your amp and whatever u want in his garage for a very cheap rate. he done most of the work in all the cars in our family and he does excellent job. let me know

remote starter is good in winter because u dont have to sit inside the car to wait for the car to warm up in -30 degrees
i can just stay indoor when the car is warming up outside and i will go into the car and take off

I agree with this so much!! Especially if there is a female that will be in your car!! They will get into the car and say it is too cold if you don't have it warmed up!!

I am not sure, but I think it comes with the compustar car starter/alarm system. I didn't need a key for my remote starter.
