Magnaflow Catback question...
...I hope I'm not sounding like a dumbass, I'm no mechanic so please bare with me.
I was testing the loudness of my exhaust the other day and I noticed something unusual. I had my car in neutral and I was revving the engine and at about 5000 RPM I noticed the exhaust starting to stutter and wouldn't get any louder. Is this normal? As a matter of fact it wouldn't allow me to go over 5000 RPM?
On the highway it gets pretty loud after about 6000 RPM and it doesn't stutter.
