attn: everybody with remote starter.

i believe it only occurs with standard cars..

but do any of you guys out there have remote starter on your standard car? .... where you will need a keyless bypass module...... or even the bypass where you do require a key.
...well, just wondering if whenever you're switching gears from 1st to 2nd or just getting into first....... and when you break to come to a complete stop.........

DO YOU HEAR THIS SORT OF A CLICKING SOUND? ....... the guy that installed mine said its suppose to 'cause its monitoring my clutch... or whatnot. 'causeo f the bypass.

just im just curious if any of you have the same thing happening..

at first it gets annoying, but i guess i will eventually get used to it......... haha, not sure if you got that, but ya............

thx.

I've always wondering about remote starters....

1) Do they have "anti-grind" feature??? (i.e. if your car is already started, and you turn the key too far and turn over the engine again??)

2) If you remotely started your car, can you remotely KILL your engine? ("Brrr, it's cold, let's go warm up the car.... <5 mins later>... frig it, TOO cold, I'm not going out!")

macrossranma:: .... do you know exactly what they did to eliminate the CLICKING sound???????

if you dont.... can you ask the guy that installed it for you? or give me the number to that guy so i can ask? pls and thanks.

'cause i dont know i would be able to stand that clicking sound everyday ............

yes theres a clicking sound when ur at complete stop and ur not holding the brake pedal...thats just to let ur starter know that ur on neutral so it can enable the remote start option when u turn off ur car
