Picked her up today!

Man... I tell ya, I couldn't sleep lastnight knowing my car was gonna be ready for pickup. Anyways, I have her now and when I picked my car up, it had 12kms on the dial
I am really happy with the car and holy crap, I can't stop looking at the new LED gauges. My only complaint is the lack of power but that's what happens when you get an auto
Well anyways, I'm gonna go drive around now but I do have a favour to ask of someone. Could anyone out there please help me remove the stock HeadUnit? I looked through the DIY guide but the centre console on the '03 models have changed. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing! I'll buy McDonald's for the person that helps me Now how can you say no to that?!?!

u know where the lighter is? well, use your fingers and slide it right under. grab hold of that panel and just PULL.. use like full force. It will pop out. If you hear "clink clink". some of your clips that hold it in place fell off. try to look for them and stick it back in.

=).. u can treat yourself mcdonlads once u get it off..

Man, now a days, anything can kill you. Hear about that law suit against McDonalds!?

scsGrumPyDriveR: Thanks for the tip . I'm gonna head out to my car right after this post to try that. I asked Honda how I would go about removing the stock Head Unit and the guy told me it was harder to do on the 03 Civic's and that they'd do it for me for 40 bux! I was like, yeah thanks... i'll think about it

SmoothOperator: I wouldn't doubt it. I drove around the city needlessly yesterday . At one point I thought to myself, where the hell am I going?

As for my car, I got a '03 Satin Silver LX Coupe Auto. I paid around $21,000 out the door with the Metallic Trim Kit and Floor mats. And I haven't thought of a name for her yet...

no... everythings painted but the side mirrors oh well

And just thought I'd share with you guys that I finally finished installing my deck. Thanks for the tips. It wasn't as hard as it was time consuming. I just started taking the whole centre console apart to until I figured it out.

No kidding..... but I guess it's just another way to distinguish the LX from the Si's.
Anyways, I'll probably end up painting it in the spring.
