Yellow Koni
Hello all,
I just got yellow Koni's with Dropzone Coilovers installed on my car. They are so sweet. But I have a some questions about them. Could anyone help me out in answering them?
1. What do they mean by adjustable?
2. If I set them to the "softest" will my car go down?
3. What would be the best setting for them?
Thanks in advance.

Hey, congrats on your purchase man!!!
I just wanted to know how much you can drop your car with dropzone coilovers?
As for your questions, the adjustable mean you can adjust the dampening and the rebound. In other words, you can adjust how you car will feel/handle on the road. If you put it to the softtest, you're car will rebound more and you won't get the same performance, but it will be more confortable. On the other hand, if you make it stiff, the car won't rebound as much, but the performance will be greatly improved. If you set it to the softtest, you're car won't go down, all that will change is the reaction of the shocks to the road. As for the best setting, it's really a matter of personnal taste, whether you want a soft ride or a stiff ride.
I hope this helps

Thanks for the info.
As for the drop, I put the setting down, they are adjustable. But I measure about a 1.7" drop. I wanted to get it lower, but the Koni's are holding it up more. Not sure why that is. I might play around with it more and see if I can get it to drop more. I was in a rush to get the thing in, so I might have to look at it again.

I actually noticed my car sitting lower after I got my Koni's and everything settled in. My Sportlines were giving 2 finger gaps before I had my Koni's and now it sits more like 1.5, so go figure.

Yeah, I notice that it was lower, but not when I had stock shocks in. But those stock shocks sucks. Very bouncy ride. And if I lowered all the way down, it was zero out. I love the ride on the Koni's but I cannot get the car height down that much any more. Will it get lower after a while. I just got them in yesterday night. I am hoping that it has not settled yet and eventually it will be a bit lower.

I paid $950 cash. I had a friend look them up for me and got me the best price he could get for them.
I live near 1st Markham place. You told me that before. You drive a silver civic right? 2 door coupe?

Set the ride height where you want it, then wait a week for the car to settle and get your alignment done. If you don't, you'll get some uneven tire wear and no one wants to replace tires prematurely.
