B18 swap anyone??

Hi Donald,

I have a complete kit from a 2000 Integra, only the motor & computer are 95
but in excellent condition. The kit
installed in your car would cost you $ 5,500.00.

Thanks

Rob

Subject: B18C1 info

I've emailed you guys before about building my D17A but that's
pointless..the heads are too small to ever allow adequate air flow..
So.. my cars a 2001..I can "legally" Swap in a B18C1 from a 2001 Model year
GSR a few folks overseas have done this allready.

All this would be done in the spring as I gotta save some benjamins.

Would you be able to find me a JDM or USDM B18C1 pulled from a 2001 GSR?.
and also provide a rough estimate on install cost and for a motor.. new
mounts would need to be fabricated and I'd imagine a ton of rewiring...for
Swaps in quebec your name keeps coming up as the best..and your brother in
law Eric is a buddy of mine.

Sorry for the long email..

Cheers
Donald

Note price is in $CAD

Maybe... the motor is actually a 95..the Tranny and ECU are 2000...it would run me about $7500 for a 2001 Block..but I'm researching legality on it and such..

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Whos ever going to know? I guess if your ok with a 95 model engine in your 2001+ car then go for it.

Gonna do the swap in the spring....or go the Turbo route.. if I wreck the B Block I'm out a crapload of $$..if I wreck the D17.. $800US gets me a new one with VTEC and I can just bolt the turbo kit back on....I'm weighing price to risk to power right now..... But a B18B swap and Turbo kit would run me about $7k total and I'd have about 260HP and way more torque

yeah..any B series..even a B20 (crv) but the CRV tranmission is bigger so you'd need a Civic or teg transmission for a B Series
