Just a warning to ppl, if you *think* you can just stop in front of a building to pick up something. Saw a parking enforcement dude direct a tow truck to tow a car off of King street yesterday at 4:20PM, and I remember the car wasn't there at 3:30PM when I was going the other way. It was at a meter spot that was no parking after 4PM. Saw a couple of tickets already written too... Gonna be expensive for the dude, not to mention the shock of finding your car GONE!!

If your anywhere near downtown if you leave your car for 5 min you'll get a ticket guaranteed. They have cops on bicycles that circle the major intersections looking to give out tickets. I can't believe they still ride their bikes in this weather.

A little too late for this thread.

downtown rush hours. NO PARKING on any of the major roads like yonge, bloor, st. george etc.

walked out of my car, paid the METER, waited to cross the road, then bumped into someone and talked for like 1 minute.... turn around... MY CAR WAS BEING TOWED!!!!! wtf!... it was on already....
i don't mind paying the stupid ticket but the cop and tow truck guy was like making me pay the tow truck for doing nothing..

The cop was like. "ya. u gotta pay him 40 bucks"
i said "no, he didn't do nothing yet"
i said " F*** U i'll pay.. "
cop guys goes "ya.40 bucks cash".. (come'on.. this sounds suspcious already)


I can't do nothing simply cuz it's such a small amount but because the cop said that, he could of got in deep sheeeit ...

Grumpy, Police has contracts with tow truck companies. I believe I was told that Police currently has a contract with "William's" or something like that. Anyways, whenver they need a tow truck, they only call that company cos they get money.

the tow truck guy gave me a ride and he was telling me how this old guy ows like 200 tow trucks and has the contract with the police...

ya.. the tow truck guy was nice.. he was teling me how i shouldn't park on the side and all the cops want is your money.. but i'm pissed cuz the cop was being an a$$...

me and tow truck talking out a deal.. the cop's like saying.. he can't do that. he can't do that.
i said i'll pay, but i got credit or i gotta go get money.. cop's like. nono. can't do that. u gotta pay him cash.
