yes, but only on the 6th gen civics......

about the ignition starter.... right? if so, ya... only on the 6th gen.

our cars are fine

but yeh they should recall some of em

I believe there is some sort of recall on some of the 7thgen... it has to do with this little spare part that is part of the clutch....

I had that done to my car because i felt some lil vibration and a lil noise everytime i would release the clutch... happens once in a while...

now that quackers mentioned it...... my clutch makes a funny noise everytime it rains. sometimes even when it doesnt rain... it makes this a pitch tone noise.
guess i should check it out since i gatta get an oil change


quackers: what did you exactly get changed from honda??? that clutch piece?? when did you do it? ... its under warrenty, right?

well i explained to the guy at honda and he said we'll check it out, and after and hour of trying to figure out what's going on. They found out what it was... this said it was this lil piece, so they changed it and the guy told me that there was like a recall on that problem... they did it for free.

Yeah it's under warranty. I did this like a month ago

hmmm, would you happen to know what that lil' piece is called, just in case they say nothign is wrong with my clutch.

which honda did you go to?
did you clutch make like a sqeaking noise?

I can't remember the name of the part, i don't think they even told me...

but i went to Dixie honda in mississauga...

And yeah i heared sqeaking noises...

Hey I have that same problem too. Everytime I step on the clutch I hear a sqeaking, high pitch sound. Andoy you heard it, remember?
