Does anyone know how to convert MPG : VCD . . .

I have the Pioneer AVX 7300 DVD player in my car and was wondering if anyone has figured out how to convert mpg's to vcd's. I have converted a few already but most of the higher quality mpg's to seem not to convert properly. This is due to the fact that they are encoded at a higher rating (ie. mpeg level-2). I heard from Stillmatik that one of you guys know how to avoid or correct this. If so, can you let me know. Even better, can I give you copies that need to be fixed? Or do you have any music videos that you want to trade? I really need to find out how to do this cause I'm really lacking in the entertainment deaprtment without up-to-date music videos bumpin in my car.

Thanks for any information that you can provide

****... whats ****??? hehe.. j/k

you'll need nero //
but it gets a lot more complicated than that // b/c not all mpeg formats will burn properlly using nero //
(audio and/or video problems)

i dont wanna write up an essay, so if you need help or having probs burning your mpegs, pm me your icq or msn...
i can tell you all kinds of video conversion...

from .asf to .avi to (proper) mpeg for your vcd pleasure hehe...
i assume, that you've decided to keep your pioneer dvd system?

i'll be online tonight...

yeah i can do dvd to vcd // unless msoft has a faster way of doing it...

you gotta get the vob. files from the dvd and convert to mpeg and mpeg to vcd // takes really long to do // and you'll need lots of free space...

but i think you'll just need to conver mpeg to vcd // like i sadi... use nero...

I have a prog called DVDx opens the vobs and outputs mpegs in VCD or SVCD format or DIVX format. All-in-one, one-step.
