Do Police Radars take pics?
Do Police Radars take pics?
Here's my dilema.. i'm figthing it.. cause the cop pulled 4 car over including me.... on steeles.
I was driving on steeles 2 integras in fron tof me, they were fast... i was with flow of traffic, so i saw the teggies slow down... and i pulled to next lane to avoid anything... and i see a cop walk into the street and he stopped everyone.. (the radar was the ones on the tripod, guessed he was stationed there under the bridge/overpass) and started picking out cars... he looked at me and pulled me over, i was the third car to be pulled over...(funny thing is all vehicles pulled over were acuras and hondas) and he just pointed out at each car and saying how fast we were going and said i was 93 (in 60)(that's all he said for the whole time 10-15 minutes later he just handed me a ticket and told me to leave?) is it even possible to clock 4 cars? in traffic? so help me out!!! cause i'mm fight it.. just wanna know if those things take pics...and any other info

get a lawyer.....
if your court date is a year over your offence/ticket date..... your lawyer can getyou off the hook 'cause somewhere in the Canada's consitution or whatnot, (whateveryou call it...canada's regulations) your charges will be dropped. this is what my lawyer told me.
...but you should get a lawyer to get your charges dropped.
unless you know how to talk to the judge.
.... 'cause according to what i know... and heard, if your court date aint within a year of your offence, you are off the hook 'cause all cases in Canada, or at least Ontario, supposedly have to be trialed within the year of the offence date.
hope this helps.

Heres the deal, its been over 10 month's, so that now means that your case can be argued under "our" charter of rights. Its has something to do with and dont quote me... "pain and agusigh". This takes place when you may suffer from stress because the court system makes you wait for something your not "officaly"guilty of (yet). So, before you go to court, talk to a lawyer, and tell what I said. If he/she wants too, they can tell you what to say to the judge or may charge you to do it for them. Most judges will not argue the charter and send you on your way, but I have heard of cases where they dont care what your saying..... so dress in your nicest suit and do some of this ......

. Hope this helps.

In some parts of Europe these sneaky POPOs have hightech radar guns.. these things take pics.
They dont pull you over if there is no major violation BUT they send you the pics in mail with the ticket.
B/-\stards!!!
The ones we have here dont take pics though at least most of them dont.

As they've all said, no they don't take pictures.
Let me guess, this is the bridge west of Leslie on Steeles across from the plaza that has a Second Cup and an Esso.
You can't speed there, it's notorious heading Westbound for Standing Radar Traps and Motorcycle Units. By the time you see them it's too late. East Bound at the same position they use cruisers that sit on the right lane and chase u after u pass them. Or they sit in the driveway of the plaza.

......charter of rights, thats whta i wanted to say in my other 'reply' haha........ it says somewhere that all cases should be trialed within the year...... if not, good chance that you will get off the hook....... you should just talk to a lawyer about this.

hehe, the trick is... pick someone u don't like at the lights at Leslie... rev him hard and make him take off and just before you get near the top of the hill, bring your car right down to the speed limit and let them keep going.....
