OT:Where to get Radar

You do know they are MAJORLY illegal in Ontario, and they do have radar detector detectors....apparently the fine is very heavy, deducts points and they confiscate the radar on-site.
well my friend told me that in Europe they came out with the radar detector that u can use it on the street and when the cops try to spot whoever using it...the unit itself will send 2 unique laser beams back to the cop's radar to confuse its signal and frequency (so the cops will never know u are using it) and that whole unit is very expensive too cuz it's just came out not too long ago.

actually radar detectors are legal in alberta, BC, and Quebec. My friend bought me one in BC.
but the risk is too high...you get busted you lose the detector...and its a couple thousand dollar fine.
i only use it on long road trips.
1028 are u looking for a radar detector or a police scanner?
radar detector detects speed measuring radar that police use to detect your speed.
police scanner can tune into the cops frequencies and hence you would know where the cops are.
if you want a scanner you can grab them at radio shack.
make sure the scanner has "trunk tracking".
its damn expensive though.
