Holy damn, where did you get your 1/4 mile time slip?

Every person I talked to, every publication I read, and every Honda salesman told me that it's slower than the last SiR.... 200HP 6-Speed RSX-S can't clearn 14's... neither can the Matrix XRS.. Celica GTS.. Golf VR6... even Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged can't do 14's...

Mid 14's is almost Impreza WRX territory.... 260HP Acura CL Type-S territory... BMW 330i territory.. Mustang GT 4.6L V8 territory.. Porsche Boxster territory..

Even Car & Driver clocked the new SiR at 15.8s 1/4 mile... and stated clearly that it is slower then Focus SVT, Sentra SE-R SpecV and Matrix XRS (which all did 15s)...

Are you absolutely SURE about this? Hey, maybe you did 14's, I don't know--I wasn't there, but I somehow have a tough time believing it...

When you dyno run a 1/4mile, it's usually wrong. Maybe by like 2seconds or more, because you are doing a rolling start, so how can you be so sure it's right. I'm not saying it can't be true, but 1/4 mile is usually done from dead stop, not rolling start.

dyno testing is only good for HP and torque... 1/4 mile run is best tested on the track.
14 is too fast IMO.....

I used to have a Talon TSI, and i'm getting depressed when you guys talk about 14.8 being fast.. I used to run in the 13's.. and now i'm depressed that my 02 civic can only run it in like 35.30..
