hey
i want to ask this question cuz i saw the hyper medallion exhaust (catback) for like 450 USD and it comes out to 675 in our money plus shipping. so i was wondering how much they charge for custom cuz i know they do.
also the apex-i N1 dunk universal muffler is like 200 USD and ive looked at psychotic racing and redlyne their like 450 to 500 cad. OMG thats bloody expensive so any good input is cool

Well Boo depending on who ships it (ie. UPS, FedEx, USPS) you're going to pay duty and tax on duty as well as brokerage fees, at least that's what I had to pay when I ordered my altezza's and satellite dish from the US. It's a big b*tch considering we're already paying for shipping.

If you go through normal post office mail delivery then you are just paying our 15% tax on the amount listed converted to Canadian dollars. If you go through some other company like the ones 2K1SiCDN listed then you will be paying the 15% plus some sort of brokerage fee. Sometimes this fee is already included in the shipping or you will end up paying anywhere from $10-$100 depending on how expensive the item is.

What I've found that works to lower duty owed, is have the person sending you the package to either list the value a lot lower than it really is or best is to list it as a warranty replacement, because then the value can be any amount or even zero.
