I had IKON's on my car a couple years back. I only had them for a season but they were OK quality, the hyperblack finish was a little dull and they were a tad heavy. A nice little budget rim but I'm glad I'm back to a slightly higher-quality budget rim (my Rotas).

i guess by your comment that the IKONS are lower quality compared to the rotas...

From what I have heard from friends who have both, Rota's are lighter and cheaper. If you check on torontocivics.com under the groupbuy section, you may be able to find some decent deals on them.

Ikon makes decent rims... like Telly said, they're a tad on the heavy side but our cars are slow anyways.
Anyways, did you say you're paying 1400 for 16's? PM me with the Model of wheel and tires you're getting... i know I can get them cheaper then that. I could probably get you 18's for that much money.

ikon rims are a budget rim like what the other guy said. they are on the same level as motegi rims. personally i don't like ikon rims as the quality of the finish is not very good and their wheel designs are pretty weak.
if i were you i'd spend a few extra $$ and grab higher quality rims. konig and enkei have some nice designs and a much higher quality finish. if you're looking at weight i'd suggest any forged volk racing wheel, if you can afford them that is.

...ended up getting the circuit 8 w/falken 451 205/50/16. was hoping on getting the azenis 215 but apparently they were discontinued... showed how long i was out of the loop of rims/tires.....
went to the place telly suggested, got a decent deal compared to the other quotes i've received. and i was sick of searching... so i just.......................... finally....................... agreed .................................................. on getting the circuit 8. haha
i really wanted the curcuit 10, but i didnt want to wait a month.
and then i wanted the oz ultraleggera... was so tempted... would of waited till thursday for them only which wasnt that big of a deal... but would of cost me an extra 5-600 or so. figured i could use that extra money on other things at the moment... so maybe till next year, will the ultraleggera be on my car... or by then, maybe a different set will catch my attention.
in a span of a week... or days, it went from ikon 13, to cuicuit 10, to oz untraleggera then to circuit 8 because of available stock and saving about 500bucks. (and the light weight) haha... decisions... sigh...
oh well, always next season.
additional post:
i saw these rims at tire23 that looked similar to the circuit 10. they were called FAST WHEELS. i was thinking about getting 'em...they were really cheap, like 560 for the set of four. but the quality didnt seemed too good and the logo wsa kinda embarassing. if i saw someone with rims called FAST WHEELS, i'd prolly be like.. wtf. and of course, they're made in taiwan.. that's why it was so cheap. haha.. they had other rims by FAST, it seems okay.. but their logo was just a tad "blah..." if you know what i mean. i guess it was just their price that caught my attention.
my tires would prolly cost as much as those rims, lol

FAST is a Canadian company (Vaudreuil, Quebec), but I'm pretty sure the wheels are manufactured overseas. I like some of their styles, but I can't vouch for durability as I've never had them on my car.

This company has come a long way in a short time and they do wonders for the scene throughout Quebec plus with this excellent customer service makes for a great local company
My Infernos were fine last season and I assume the same for this season. Though sadly, I'm starting to see them more and more around. Oh well, thats the life of choosing a nicely designed, lowered price wheel

While I was hunting for SubZeros (thanks again APR) I was looking at FAST wheels at Tires23. The day before I was gonna go lay down a deposit on the Nitro2's I found APRBoy's Rota thread. They're nice looking rims, a set of 18" Nitro2's would be perfect on an EP3.
