The only colours you are allowed to have up front are white and amber. Despite that however, police pull people over for white signals and issue tickets even though they are legal. I dont understand this.

If you want orange signals go to honda and get the SIR turn signal bulbs. They are single filament and only come on when you signal as opposed to the OEM white, which come on when your lights are on.

You can have white signals up front but face it NO ONE has just white, they're all hyperwhite, with that blue tint on them. THAT is the illegal part.

And I know someone's gonna bring up LED's so let me say right now that while technically they should be legal, they're not bright enough to indicate anything in the daytime. I've had them and nearly been killed because people couldn't see me braking or signalling.

like telly said...white is legal...super white...hyper white...or anything that isn't a clear bulb is illegal...using the police definition of white.

actually superwhite and white turn signals aren't really that bright during the day either IMO...to each their own tho.

Legal or not, I'd agree with what others have said about them being hard to see in the daytime. IMO stick with amber.
