Sweet, its about time, although it seems alot of typical Canadian content BS will be part of it.

Now just have to wait for the local shops to start selling the stuff.

i'm in jersey in the states, and I recommend Sirius...they have some really great stations, not bashing XM, just uneducated to them.

i dont get it. its just another radio station right? you get stations from all over the world? so its the same crap thats always on the radio, just more of it? someone correct me, what is the benefit of xm?

I just ordered an XM antenna and tuner for my pioneer head unit, getting it installed monday.

They have up to 5 months to accept the offer so its not REALLY here yet. I called XM and they said they have no problems charging a canadian credit card for their services.


and

premium plus, the reason you get XM is because its 150 channels of commerical free radio sorted by genre. If you drive a lot and dont have time to make mixes, or keep up with hit music for that matter its a good choice. Its also good if you have passengers who dont share your music tastes. A lot of its uncensored and they got some good talk radio.

and no you dont get music from around the world. The stations are based out of the US

As well, being from a satelite, the signal is far more cleaner and crisp than a regular FM radio station (on par with CD quality sound).
