Great service at Lakeshore Honda

Just had my stock 2001 sedan brakes done
98,400 km on original brake pads and drums
Replaced the front pads, machined the rotors, rear drums still OK- much better than any other car I've owned
Lakeshore Honda even washed the car

I'm no mechanic but I believe that brakes are designed to make noise when they need adjustment or replacement

I wasn't too impressed with lakeshore honda. Bought two 2001 civics last year on one deal, the delivery sucked ***. They promised to toutch up scratches/dents... never got done. The last owner of one car had a dog so the car smelled like ***. They promised to take care of that too... never got done, the car still smelled. The one scratch that got so called repaird was just painted over without any prep work. It had orange peel, dust in the paint and you can still see the scratch underneath. To ice the cake the clear coat started chipping off it 5 months later. The other car was poping out of gear- fixed under warranty (with a bit of hassles) however less than 10 months later it's in again for the exact same problem. The two cars we had before; 90 accord and 92 civic gave much less hassles than these two. Don't think I'll go back there. I'd prefer if some punk kid didn't use dirty rags to wash my car and my roof as a cup holder anyway.

Ya, Classic just did some body work on my car a few weeks ago. I got rear endded by a H2. They were good, no complaints. I go there to buy parts, it's close by. They always have a nice looking girl at the front desk.

My friend works at Lakeshore Honda in the Express Lube or something out back. :P It's a good dealership... not my favorite tho... I like Parkway Honda the best because there's free wireless Internet in there and they have a nice shuttle to get you from place to place... AND AND... they even have a cafe in there :P

OK, so we pick up the car that was in for popping out of gear. We were promised one day but it wasn't ready, so we had to pick it up the following day. They did the B service which is basically rebuilding most of the tranny, I was happy with that. Only complaint this time is the new scratch on the front lip. I'll just touch it up. They are also gonna repaint the bumper with the clear coat peeling. I guess they're not all that bad. Service guy was very nice and proffesional.
