HID questions!

i'm seriously thinkin about buying a set of HIDs for my car.
and for all those who have HIDS and tips or advice.
can anyone help me out with the questions below! thanx!

1. Should I Get HIDs for my blacked out or For Projector lights?
(problem being i like the projector look but i can only use it for summer cuz in the winter it fogs real easy... a big **** off to be honest, and also a lil paranoid about burning throu the plastic of the stock lights)

2. I want the blue colored HIDs does anyone know what number that is?
(ex. 4000k, 5000k, 65000k, etc..)

3. wheres a good place to get them?

4. Prices, i juss wanna know a range of how much i might be spending.

5. And are they easy to install?

Thanx Guys n' Gals!

1) I heard that projectors are the worst headlight housing you can use for hid's, unless they are real hid projectors.

2) The higher the kelvin temp, the more blue or even purple the lighting will be. 6500k will put out the most blue light. I'd stick with 4300k or 5000k max just so cops stay off your butt. 4300k will be brighter than 6500k though.

3) you can get them pretty much any where, but if I were you, I would buy the phillips , osram, or hella brand ballast. Everything else is crap, especially mcculloch, brightstar, and those other crap brands. Those brands may be cheaper, but remember, you get what you pay for.

4) as far as I know, I've seen hid's go for $350 to around $600 cdn, depending on your light bulb, and kelvin temp you want.

5) easy to install?? its a piece of cake. Its pretty much a plug and play.

Your better off using hid's in your stock headlights. You'll get more light output from you stock ones. I've heard a lot of complaints that hid's are not good in TYC headlights.

stock housing, 4-5k color is brightest, Impulse sells xtec kits. Price $200-500. Hid burns alot cooler than halogen so no worries about melting.

1llmatic will become famous soon enough
6000k is blue enough.
you will most likely get pulled over.
Anything higher and you will get pulled over. no question.

I've been pulled over a few times for my 6500K. Never ticketed though, just harrassment and warnings.

Brightstars, 400-ish, plenty bright but the lower temps light up more stuff on the road, like around 4000-4300K.

1) Since you like projectors, then go get an HID kit that will work with your projectors, and silicone them up so that they dont fog anymore

2) 4500k = white, 5000k = white/aqua, 6000k = white/violet

3) I can get them for you if u are interested

4) Typical kit goes over $300 (not talking about crap ebay kits)

5) Yes, well, the ones I sell are simply plug and play

most kits out there require you to drill a hole into the back of the projector/bulb opening so that the bulb will fit. The kit that I sell is a direct plug in and wont require drilling. The HID kit you have in your stock headlights will not work with your projectors cause you need different size bulbs.

Retrofitting has nothing to do with what you want
