Rep Power: 279 actually...if you change the cat...you will experience more than the 5whp that was reported in honda tuning magazine.
The cat is the most restrictive piece of your car.
intake, header, and straight exhaust should give you gains.
if you're looking for more power
try this tho...take your power steering belt off...thats proven 4-6whp

Rep Power: 0 i suggest HP header and since they modified the header to fit the 5 speed model, it is the more obvious choice out there.
as for running no cat, i dont suggest that because if the cop pulls you over and inspect your car, you can have your car towed away and face a huge fine for running no cat.
i was going to do performance mod on my civic but i saw the power gain on this site and magazines and decided to go with a car with more potential so i went with the 1.8T....it's all about the boost

Rep Power: 279 you can take the belt off yourself...its easy
warning: the 7thgen steering rack is stiff without power steering. i'm not going to lie...it takes alot of strength to drive without power steering...
for some reason on other cars its not as bad...EK civics aren't 1/2 as bad as the 7th gen...
