What Tire Size Can I Go With?

hey everyone, just wondering what tire size is good for a non-lowered sedan with the 2003 sir rims on it. there 15 inch rims and the current tire size is 185 65 r15. what is a safe and good for performance tire size that everyone uses on our cars usually? thanks!

I think you can get away with 205/60/15 (0.95% speedometer difference), especially if the car isn't lowered. Hell, if you don't really care about the tires balooning out that much, go for 215/50/15, ha ha. OK I was just kidding about that last part. You can use the tire calculator here to calculate tire sizes, then search for them on 1010tires.com or tirerack:
Clicky

The selection for these sizes is staggering actually, you should search the wheel&tire section of this board to see what other people are running.

205/60/15 should be a very good size if your civic is not lower.

Question... why did your 03 SiR wheels come with 185/65R 15?
My old 03 SiR wheels came with 195/55R 15 and my stock LX steelie's came with 185/60R 15.

Neither of my wheels, from Factory, came with a 65 series tire....
