OT: X box games / backup games
Hey guys I just recently sold my PS2 and purchased an Xbox. Does anyone here have any hook ups for games? or Xbox backup games.
Ive heard of bit torrent or suprnova.org but dont know how to use it...any other suggestions or websites to download .ISO files or do any places sell back-ups?

As well, the backup games will only work if you have a modded box anyways.

(pretty easy to find). Then from searching on sites such as the one you mentioned, just click the link and eventually the file(s) gets transfered. Also, better to trust known poster(s) (ie mods/admins) then an anonymous poster. Last edited by Karumba; Aug 27, 2004 at 06:14 PM.
hey man i have a modded xbox....i have around 50 games on the hard drive of my xbox...i am coming to barrie soon cause my dad live off livingston and st. vincent...so next time i am up there i can transfer a bunch of games to your comp if u want..let me know..you will have to buy a mod chip tho..because unless u have one you can't play burned games or ripped games from the xbox harddrive....

Rep Power: 0 Hey Boy R D thanks for the response. I am getting the xbox modded as we speak. Do you have a good selection of Sports and Racing games? I may be able to get some from the guy thats modding my xbox but if not that would be awesome if you could hook me up. How do you transfer the games onto the comp? Do you need a special cable or something? anyways let me know the next time your up in Barrie. Thanks
hey man..are u gonna do it with hard drive? that way you can just ftp the games to your xbox and load them off the hard drive or are u gonna burn them...if ur doin the hard drive then i can just connect to your xbox with mine and just dump everything on there....i have the 2 new football games..nfl2k5 and madden 05...i am usually up-to-date on good sport games..i am just waiting for a few days off from work then i am gonna head up for a few days...i'll keep in touch...msn me at dj_fat_pease@hotmail.com

Rep Power: 326 just for legality purposes, when people say that they have 50 games or so on their xbox hard drive and such, you do have the original games somewhere right?

It's pretty easy to hook up your XBox to your computer. Just gotta change a few settings. I'm sure Boy R D will help you out, if he doesn't come, i can run you through it. Also, on my xbox i have over 700 old school nintendo games and 150 Super nintendo games, i can hook you up with that if you want!

Rep Power: 0 You guys rock! I should know later this week if I can get the games locally but if we ever meet up at a meet or something Ill make sure I have my xbox with me. I would probably burn games onto DVDR and then play them that way. Im very new with the Xbox so I dont know much about it or how the Hardrive works on it, but you guys sound like you know your stuff and I trust ya. Ill keep in touch for sure though. Thanks
i suggest you get the hard drive put on there buy the guy that is doin the mod chip and have him flash your bios so that you can have a new "xbox operating system". That way you can load games on to the hard drive and then just go into a list and select what game you want.
I am not good at installing the chip and flashing but i can do the game upload for you..

))- its a little encompassing at first, but take it slow/read most FAQ and you should be fine. But as stated, I'm sure you can ask a good number of us on here
